The Village of Owego has received a grant from the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC).
The grant is a Green Initiatives Program Grant for up to $712,500 to use for upgrades to the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
These upgrades will be for nutrient reduction to comply with the Chesapeake Bay Initiative.
